Baby Catalina

Crunchy green baby spinach leaves with a nutty flavor. This baby green is a nutritional powerhouse, packing in 15% of your daily iron, 10% of your daily potassium, and 6% of your daily calcium per serving.

Baby Arugula

Bright, tart, peppery, and slightly bitter. Our baby arugula has a distinct flavor with a delicate taste. It is an excellent source of Antioxidant Vitamin C and Vitamin K, and is a good source of eye-healthy Vitamin A.

Micro Rocket

Intense, Tangy and Peppery

Micro Rocket is bright and nutty. It’s perfect for adding a dash of spiciness to a variety of dishes.

Rocket goes by many names; it’s aka rucola, arugula, and ruchetta. Whatever you call it, it’s fantastic.

Rich in calcium and containing tons of vitamins, micro rocket can promote healthy bones and teeth.

Micro rocket is best used fresh to retain its spicy flavor. Use it to make your salads more exciting and garnish your omelets. It’s delightful on pizza.

Micro Purple Basil

Crisp, Vibrant, Flavorful

A mild basil-clove taste, hints of citrus, and a sweet-spicy finish. It could be one of the classiest garnishes of them all.

Micro purple basil grows quickly: it can be harvested 10 days after germination.

Micro purple basil contains iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and high amounts of vitamin c. It’s known to be an excellent anti-oxidant.

It’s best used as a garnish to add flavor and color to salads and cocktails. We can’t get enough of it in our tomato mozzarella salads – simple, fresh, flavorful.

Micro Italian Basil

Aromatic Simplicity

Crisp, tender, aromatic. Micro Italian Basil has a clove-like flavor combined with notes of citrus, anise, and peppery undertones. It carries a sweet, slightly spicy kick that will bring life to your dishes.

The word basil comes from the ancient Greek basilikhon, meaning royal. No wonder it adds such a luxurious feel to every dish!

Micro Italian basil is rich in vitamins a, b6, c, e, and k. It contains calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, copper, magnesium, and potassium.

Micro Italian basil goes well with almost anything you can think of - sauces, dips, dressings, smoothies, cocktails, the list goes on. Combine it with tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, and a crack of pepper.

Micro Red Amaranth

Visual Appeal and Refined Taste

One of the least common microgreens, Micro Red Amaranth is crisp, tender, slightly sweet, and earthy. It has a mild mustard taste with a lingering grassy finish. It’s gaining popularity in culinary circles for its unique appearance and earthy aroma.

Amaranth (there are over 70 kinds) was domesticated long ago by pre-Columbian Aztecs.

Nutritious, micro red amaranth contains potassium, zinc, copper, manganese and is a good source of dietary fiber. It’s full of vitamins C, K, & E.

Garnish salmon, pasta, wraps, and sandwiches. It’s the perfect addition of color and earthy flavors in salads. We recommend it in a carrot and apple salad with a twist of lemon.

Micro Red Veined Sorrel

Sour, Crisp, and Colorful

If you want to add vibrant color to your dishes and dazzle all those who join you for dinner, this one is for you. It will bring a lemony zing to your soups, fish, and meats.

 For centuries, native Americans have used red veined sorrel as an antidote for poison.

Micro red veined sorrel is rich in vitamins b & c. It’s a good calcium, potassium, and magnesium source and contains antioxidants like phytochemicals, flavonoids, and quercetin.

Add some bright, fresh, tangy flavors to your salads, or add it to a cream sauce to accompany your favorite fish. We love it with salmon!

Micro Chives

Crunchy, Spicy, and Salty

Micro Chives have a delicate onion flavor and garlic undertones. They’re best used as a garnish yet can be the touch you need to make a dish go from great to incredible.

Romanian gypsies believe that chives have fortune-telling properties. We’re no fortune tellers, but we’re confident you’ll love our micro chives!

Along with tons of vitamins, micro chives are full of potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, and zinc. They contain a considerable amount of vitamin k, known to improve bone density.

Micro chives can make a plain dish look stunning. Use it to add subtle flavor to your French omelets, soufflés, potato salads, or cream sauces.

Micro Fennel

For a Refined Anise-Like Taste

While it’s sweet and perfumy, Micro Fennel is characterized by its anise-like aroma. It gives food that “I’m not sure what it is, but man it’s amazing” flavor.

The ancient Chinese used fennel to treat scorpion stings and snakebites. Safety first!

Micro fennel is rich in dietary fiber and protein. It contains a high amount of vitamin c, potassium, and manganese.

Use it to add character to your cream sauces and salad dressings. It’s phenomenal when braised in white wine.

Micro chervil is an all-purpose herb you can use in sauces, soups, eggs, and herbal blends. Mix it with olive oil, lemon juice, and capers to accompany your grilled salmon.

Micro Green Shiso

This slender microgreen is earthy with notes of anise, clove, mint, basil, and cinnamon. Micro Shiso Green is a perfect substitute for basil, making it highly versatile and easy to use in savory or sweet dishes.

World-class pastry chefs use micro shiso green to create unique desserts. Shiso ice cream, anyone?

This herb is high in calcium and iron and contains a significant amount of fiber, potassium, and vitamins a, c, & k.

Often used in Japanese cuisine, micro shiso green pairs well with rice, noodles, tofu, fish, meat, and even fruits. It’s the ultimate garnish for virtually any dish, whether sweet or savory.

Micro Red Mustard Frills

Radiant, Colorful, and Pleasantly Spicy

Micro Red Frill Mustard has robust and peppery flavors that are similar to horseradish or wasabi. Its crunchy, bright leaves add a spicy zing to complement various savory dishes and a few sweet creations.

Red frill mustard is also known as ruby streaks and scarlet frill.

Micro red frill mustard is ultra-nutritious. It’s low in calories, rich in fiber and micronutrients, and a great source of copper and vitamins c and k.

Blend it with other leafy greens to create flavorful salads or use it on its own to accompany meat or fish dishes. We love the unique spice it brings to the table - what a delight!

Micro Pea Tendrils

Micro Pea Tendrils are light, slightly sweet, and have a mildly bitter aftertaste with nutty undertones on the palate. Leaves, stems, and vines are edible, bringing a blend of crisp and tender textures to your meal.

Pea tendrils, or pea shoots, have vines that can snake their way up to over 6 feet!

Micro pea tendrils may be small, but they’re super nutritious. These tiny shoots are rich in vitamins a, c, & k and contain high carotene and folic acid levels.

Like spinach, micro pea tendrils bring freshness to wraps, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, gnocchi, and more. We love it cooked in light soy soil and a dash of ginger to accompany our meats, poultry, and fish - simply mouth-watering!

Micro Lemon Balm

Bright, Light, Refreshing

Micro Lemon Balm has a distinct lemon scent and resembles mint in appearance. It’s a fragrant, citrusy herb that has a subtle minty taste. You’ll love the way it ignites the palate, making your dressings and salads more flavorful.

The romans mentioned the medicinal properties of lemon balm in 300 B.C.!

Micro lemon balm is rich in flavonoids, phytochemicals, and tannins. It contains high levels of vitamins c & b.

It’s fantastic in fruit salads, tasty in vinaigrettes, and perfect to garnish seafood dishes. Throw a handful of leaves in a cup of hot water, add a splash of honey, and you’ve got yourself a fantastic cup of tea.
